This is an example of Clubcard’s 24 point natural kraft chipboard cardstock available on our indigo offset print runs. When we say a card is 24 points this means the card is 24/1000 of an inch thick; most cards are printed on 12-16 point cardstocks so this is a very thick card.
This stock is made of 100% post consumer waste content meaning that unlike recycled cards that have first cut paper fibres these cards are made from paper that has already been used in print, put in blue bins and collected from the recycling flow meaning zero trees are cut down to make your cards.
If you like this natural kraft option please consider that part of the charm of the chipboard is the inconsistencies in the colour and surface feel from card to card. We believe these variances add to the natural, "old school" look and feel of these cards.
We will print your crds in CMYK full colour with the option to add a white ink base. Printing in full colour on anything but a white stock will effect the final colours you see on your printed card so to get colours that are closer to true CMYK full colour values we recommend you choose to the option to add a spot white ink which is printed under the CMYK full colour inks acting like a primer coat.
Remember if some colour variation poses a problem for your project we suggest you choose one of the white stocks available.
