What Are The Benefits Of Laminating Cards?

Did you know that we offer many different types of lamination on all sizes of cards at Clubcard? Lamination has many benefits from increasing scratch resistance and protection from surface moisture to preventing discolouration and fading.

Besides the many practical benefits, lamination adds a tactile surface to your cards that entice the sense of touch while creating additional visual effects that elevate the experience your clients enjoy while interacting with your cards.

We offer many laminating options including matte, gloss, silk, suede and soft touch. With many of these laminating options you can incorporate additional design elements including foil stamping and uv spot gloss printing to enhance your brand experience. Read all about these options below and follow the links to see which type of lamination is best for your cards.

SILK LAMINATION

Silk laminated cards have a low sheen, matte appearance paired with an elegant silky soft feel that is an ideal surface for adding the high sheen and contrast of UV spot gloss elements and foil colours to highlight elements of your cards.

SOFT TOUCH LAMINATION

Soft touch lamination provides a pleasant velvety peach-like element to the surface of your cards with a matte appearance. Soft touch lamination is widely used in custom packaging and elegant book covers.
